Chad is one of the 47 landlocked countries in the world and is located in North Central Africa, measuring 1,284,000 square kilometers (495,755 sq mi), nearly twice the size of France and slightly more than three times the size of California. Most of its ethnically and linguistically diverse population lives in the south, with densities ranging from 54 persons per square kilometer in the Logone River basin to 0.1 persons in the northern B.E.T. (Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti) desert region, which itself is larger than France. The Millepora Zone Is Back: Recent Findings from the Northernmost Region of the Maldives. Three species of the tropical hydrocoral genus Millepora were common and abundant in the Maldives before 1998, characterizing extensive shallow reef areas known as ‘Millepora zones’. The 1998 heat wave resulted in mass mortality of all the Millepora species, the characteristic Millepora zones disappeared, and only a few observations of isolated colonies were reported in the years ahead. Comparison of three methods for estimating the global solar radiation of Faya-Largeau in the Saharan zone, Chad. In this work, we make a confrontation between measured values of the solar radiation given by NASA and those estimated by the mathematical models suggested in the literature. The chosen mathematical models are those of the model of Angstrom, Allen and the model of Sabbagh which are described as the best models. The three methods used the root mean square error (RMSE),mean bias error(MBE), mean percentage error(MPE) and nash- sutcliffe equation(NSE) was compared with failure analysis.
